This Indenture made this 6th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two, between Josiah Duck of the County of Pulaski and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and Josiah W. Duck of the County and Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Josiah Duck for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred & fifty Dollars Current money of Kentucky, to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged that[?] granted Bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto the said Josiah W. Duck, his heirs and assigns all that tract on parcel of land Situate and being in the County of Pulaski on the waters of whiteoak Creek, Containing two hundred Acres and Bounded as follows (To wit) Beginning on a Poplar and Dogwood Abraham Stephens corner thence running S. 10 W. 60 poles to three gums thence N. 50 E. 148
poles to a stake thence N. 4 E. 110 poles to a stake at pointers thence N. 87 E. 80 poles to Pointers thence N. 184 poles to Pointers thence N. 45 W. 142 poles to Pointers thence S. 25 W. 286 poles to the Beginning. Together with all and singular the premises with the appurtenances these unto belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and To Hold the land hereby Conveyed with the appurtenances unto the said Josiah W. Duck his Heirs and assigns forever and the said Josiah Duck for himself, his heirs, Executers and Administrators, the aforesaid tract of land and Remises unto the said Josiah W. Duck, his Heirs or assigns against the Claim or Claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. Doth and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.

I, William Fox, Clerk of the Pulaski County Court Do certify this Deed from Josiah Duck to Josiah W. Duck was this day produced to me in my office by the said granter, and proven to be the act and Deed of the said Josiah Duck.
Whereupon the said Deed together with the foregoing certificate hath been Duly admitted to Record in my office.
